Effect of Motor Intervention on Mental Rotation, Meta-Analysis

Background & Objective: Cognitive abilities of humans will affect through various experiences. The aim of the present meta-analysis study was to investigate the effects of the physical intervention on mental rotation ability.
Material &Methods: Therefore, only seven researches were identified from studies that all studies had the conditions of entry for the meta-analysis.
Results: The results of the studies and the effect sizes combination showed that physical intervention has a significant effect on mental rotation abilities. It was also found that the impact of physical interventions is higher on sedentary people, compared to ordinary people.
Conclusion: The results of the present meta-analysis revealed the effects of the motor program in mental rotation ability that shows the effects of the motor intervention on cognitive and spatial ability.
